Lot Description

Breen Die State II. A glossy deep chocolate-brown example with hints of warm olive. The border denticulation runs off the obverse at upper right, but the reverse is better centered, and both sides retain plenty of bold to sharp detail throughout the design. Free of significant blemishes, this is an attractive piece that numbers among the two dozen or so finest survivors from the Sheldon-190 dies.
