- 1797 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-71, B-3. Rarity-2. Stars 10x6. VF-25 (PCGS). Marbled shades of olive-gold and pinkish toning accent the overall dove-grey surfaces. Pleasantly bold at center with just minor softness at the reverse borders. BB-71 is the only die marriage of the 1797-dated Draped Bust dollar issue with the Stars 10x6 arrangement, and it is a readily obtainable variety in its series that is ideal for type purposes.
