1823/2 Capped Bust Dime. JR-3. Rarity-2. Large Es. MS-63 (PCGS). OGH. A well struck coin that is draped across each side by blended hues of amber, gray, and electric-blue patina. An attractive, satiny specimen without any obvious distractions. The old style PCGS insert carries coin # 4498, which is now reserved for the Small Es Guide Book variety of the 1823/2 Capped Bust dime. PCGS# 4499.
