1891 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-66 (NGC). CAC. Wonderfully original surfaces exhibit target-like toning that originates in cobalt blue at the borders, then passes through rose and golden-apricot shades as one's gaze moves toward the centers. Highly reflective and expertly preserved throughout, this is a premium quality survivor from the final Proof issue in the long-running Liberty Seated half dollar series that began in 1839.
