Lot Description

The Crimson Collection. Mintage: 38,500. Dusky champagne-grey, cyan and rose hues decorate the fields and swish up onto the devices on both sides. Such an excellent strike would look right at home on a coin graded one or more points higher, but some small abrasions above the eagle's neck and a few wispy nicks probably account for the grade.
