Lot Description
1893 Barber Dime. Proof-66+ (PCGS). CAC. An undeniably original specimen, the obverse is layered in beautiful multicolored toning of reddish-gold, olive, pearl gray, powder blue and pinkish-rose. The more reserved, yet equally desirable reverse is toned in dominant olive-charcoal and mauve-gray. The Proof finish is readily appreciable as the surfaces rotate under a light. A simply gorgeous survivor from a mintage of 792 Proofs that is a strong contender for a Superb Gem grade. PCGS Population: 1; 22 finer in this category (Proof-68+ finest). PCGS# 4877. NGC ID: 23G4.
