1824 Matron Head Cent. N-2. Rarity-2. AU-53 BN (PCGS). A delicately-circulated example showing only hints of friction across the highest points. Steely-brown in color with accents of lilac and golden-tan throughout. The protected regions display considerable frosty luster which complements the overall smooth surfaces. A speck of residue clings to the lower right point of star 2 and a very shallow mark underlines the E of ONE. Noyes Die State B/B (early). Provenance: From the Paradise Collection. PCGS# 1636.
