Ex Teich Family Collection. What a wonderful borderline GEM Cameo Proof from the first year that the mint produced Proof Sets for sale to the general public. Only 300 Proofs were said to be struck for collectors. The present coin has rich, watery brilliant reflection to the fields that surround the frosted devices that stand out with a bold contrast. Mostly untoned, this brilliant example has a classic old time look and is from an old time collection. PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 2. This is the one that sold for $2,115 in February 2014 and is the only PR64 CAM to sell in auction with CAC approval.
