From an original mintage of over a million pieces, this is the ONLY example of the 1892-S Barber half dollar to be designated PL by PCGS. Fully reflective, watery lustrous fields are icy smooth and sleek. Boldly shimmering surfaces are mostly untoned with just a trace of champagne-gold iridescent toning, especially on the reverse. A few light lines are seen for accuracy, but the eye appeal is unimpacted and truly wonderful. PCGS 1, NGC 0. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $7,250.
