Endearing satin to softly frosted surfaces are untoned apart from subtle pale gold highlights that are not readily evident at all viewing angles. Strike detail is bold overall and well executed for this brief and challenging design type from the beginning of the nickel five-cent series. A strong candidate for inclusion in a high grade Mint State set.
