1848 Seated Liberty Quarter. Briggs 1-A. Repunched Date. MS-62 (PCGS). The date is repunched well to the left with all digits showing this feature. Toned in a mix of gunmetal-gray on the obverse with matching but more blue on the reverse. The strike is average with minor softness on the left thigh of the eagle but sharp elsewhere. Some hairlines and a stray nick or two, expected for the grade assigned.
