1891 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-66 (NGC). Wonderfully original surfaces exhibit target-like toning at direct viewing angles, the peripheries dressed in cobalt blue that yields to pinkish-apricot toward the centers. Highly reflective and expertly preserved throughout, this is a premium quality survivor from the final Proof issue in the long-running Liberty Seated half dollar series that began in 1839.
