FROM THE CULLEN B COLLECTION Another popular Top 100 VAM, this one's doubling is evident on the lower arrow shafts on the reverse. Swirling cartwheel luster radiates with a vibrant brilliance on both sides. The reverse shows a hint of reflective flash, adding to the intensity of the eye appeal. Sharply struck and showing off a touch of iridescent silver-white and clear gold tone that attest to the originality, and adding to its high end allure. PCGS 9, NGC 1, CAC 80 (for all 1888-O varieties except the Scarface and Doubled Die Obverse). This coin sold in a November 2017 Internet Auction for $2,375 and has sold for as much as $2,900 in its five auction appearances between 2004 and 2017.
