1913 Indian Eagle. MS-65 (NGC). An appealing Gem, frosty mint luster is front and center with medium-gold patina and a razor-sharp strike. The surfaces are exceptionally smooth for both the issue and the type, and the eye appeal is also superior. The 1913 may be among the more plentiful Indian Eagles in an absolute sense, but high-grade Uncs are still scarce when viewed in the wider context of the U.S. gold coin family.
