1854 N-14 R2- Repunched 4 PCGS graded MS64 Brown.Lustrous light olive with a small puff of lighter brown toning at the bust tip. The surfaces are satiny and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. The only notable contact marks are a small rim nick at star 8 and a tiny horizontal scratch below star 11. The reverse is flawless. MDS, die state b early. There are dull traces of a couple of the earlier die lines from the dentils over NI in UNITED and the repunching inside the triangle of the 4 is dull but clearly visible. Our grade is MS62, tied for CC#12 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 5; none finer. Estimated Value $400 - UP
