Ex Dr. Gerald “Jerry” Schertz Hints of golden toning from a kraft envelope.  Full, frosty luster.  This was lot 87 in my July 1994 sale of Jerry Schertz’ coins.  I noted a hairline from star 3 to bust.  I needed a loupe to find it in 2022!  Dr. Schertz acquired the coin in 1984 from Tom Denley, a well-known currency dealer in Boston (also friend and fishing companion of the noted bust half collector Jim Brilliant).   Estimate: $500 to $600
