Lot Description

Ms. Anna's Collection. 80 graded MS-65, 17 higher at NGC. Many later half-eagles are commonly found in gem grade, but the 1895 sees a precipitous drop in availability at such an esteemed level. Satin sheen displays glinting gunmetal-blue sparsely layered over ruddy golden surfaces. An abrasion trickles down the nose in defiance of the assigned MS-65.
