Lot Description

The three die marriages of this issue are of roughly equal availability in today's market, including in Mint State grades. Together they comprised a mintage that Bill Eckberg (2019) believes is the 154,000-piece figure that the Mint reported for calendar year 1833. This is a handsome BU example of the 1832 C-1 attribution, sharply struck and richly toned in orange-brown.
