1805 C-2 R5 Small 5 with Stems PCGS graded F12.Attractive glossy medium chocolate brown. The surfaces are smooth and the eye appeal is excellent. Just a few minor contact marks from choice. The notable marks are a dull diagonal nick on the forehead and a diagonal hairline scratch in the field under LIB. MDS with just a faint hint of swelling in the field before the portrait. The reverse is rotated 20 degrees CCW. A very nice example of a rare variety that usually comes in low grades with significant defects. Our grade is VG10+, close to F12 (obverse VG10, reverse F12+). The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 2 finer, 1 in 35, 1 in 50 for the variety.Estimate Value $8,000 - UP
