- 1847 Braided Hair Cent. N-20. Rarity-3. MS-65 RB (NGC). Beautiful deep brown with golden-red accents in the protected areas of the design. Pale blue overtones in the reverse fields. Strong luster, and somewhat prooflike in the fields when turned to a certain angle in the light. Struck from the early state of the dies, sharp and very attractive.
