- 1878 Twenty-Cent Piece. Proof-64 Cameo (NGC). Fully struck devices and mirror-finish fields greet the viewer from both sides of this lightly patinated, golden-tinged specimen. Bold cameo contrast is also readily evident as the coin rotates under a light, but we are unable to locate any outwardly distracting blemishes. From a proof-only mintage of just 600 pieces, and sure to be of keen interest to advanced collectors, as such.
