Lot Description

Despite a large mintage of over 4.6 million, the 75-CC dime is RARE in GEM or finer grades. A thick, pearly mint frost belies the soft silver-gold iridescent toning. The devices are generally sharp and bold struck from a rusted state of the dies. There are a few minor marks visible with the aid of a strong glass, but they do not distract. The eye appeal is pleasing on this popular CC mint dime! PCGS 22, NGC 8, CAC 10. The most recent example sold in August 2021 for $4,800. RARE finer, PCGS has graded just 15 higher.
