- Description du lot
- A wonderful GEM example of this first year issue Seated Liberty half dime. Type collectors often put together first year sets, and this GEM "+" is a perfect example, wholly original, with a rich satiny luster under a beautiful antique patination. Cobalt peripheries fade to gold, purple, and verdant tones over pewter-silver. The strike is bold throughout with a hint of weakness only in places on the reverse wreath. The eye appeal is exemplary for the assigned grade. PCGS 62, NGC 75, CAC 25. PCGS has graded just two in MS65+. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,500. What a wonderful example for any collector. Good luck. Cert. Number 36156961 PCGS # 4317
