- 1795 Washington Grate Halfpenny. Musante GW-50, Baker-29D, W-10950. Small Buttons. Reeded Edge. AU-55 (NGC). A sharp, relatively well struck example with problem-free deep brown surfaces that are glossy with traces of frost. The Small Buttons obverse is the more conditionally challenging of the two Grate Halfpenny varieties, which fact confirms the significance of this Choice AU for the advanced Washingtoniana collector.
