Lot Description

Sharply struck up, this choice 1828 cent has a bold visual allure. Ample accents of original mint RED color does a lot to accent the nicely rendered devices and makes them stand out against the wonderful surface quality. Blue/brown color is seen on the reverse with just a hint of RED. Very pleasing overall. PCGS 5, NGC 0. The last one to sell in auction was eight years ago for $5,290 and the current CU value is $5,500. A choice coin for the middle date large cent collector. Cert. Number 83902748 PCGS # 1655
