1852/1852 Liberty Double Eagle. FS-301. Repunched Date. AU-58+ (NGC). CAC. Remnants of the underdigits are evident north of the primary digits in the date. A bold overdate that can be elusive in all grades, the present example numbers among the finest certified. Lustrous and sharply defined, the surfaces are further enhanced by lovely rose-orange color. Neither light rub nor wispy abrasions inhibit either the technical quality or eye appeal of this important near-Mint survivor. High in the Condition Census for the variety!
