THE FINEST DCAM 1884 PROOF 3CN! WOW! This amazing SUPERB GEM is eye-popping! By the mid-1880s, the mintages went up dramatically, but the quality of striking did not. Very few survive with full DCAM contrast, and this one is tied for FINEST of those precious few. The deep, icy mirrors shine through the reflective surfaces and the reliefs are fully struck and highly frosted. The mirrors offer such deep and impressive clarity! The quality and eye appeal are AMAZING. PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 4. There is something strange with the Population figures. There is only 1 PR67+ DCAM on the Population Report, but this is NOT the one that sold in the 2017 ANA auction for $15,275. If you are building the FINEST set of DCAM 3CN, this should be your 1884!
