Lot Description
We would bet in the old days prior to third party grading, this coin easily would have been called a GEM. No question this is a VERY HIGH END coin. Extremely deep mirrors boldly beam from all over. The mirrors are also super clear and clean. When using a strong glass all we could find were some really light lines on the face that could keep this piece from a PR65 Cameo designation. There is a touch of original gold/russet color by the rims. The contrast is bold. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted a silvery color and are fully struck. The eye appeal is fantastic! Only 811 minted. PCGS 19, NGC 11, CAC 8. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $4,320 in June 2018. Th current Collectors Universe value is $5,000. We can see this coin bringing that or more. The coin really is that nice! Cert. Number 35255800 PCGS # 87324
