From the Aurora Borealis Collection. A gorgeous, GEM CAMEO Proof of this Civil War date. Deeply reflective mirrors contrast with a wild vivacity against the frosted, well struck up devices. Spectacular tan-gold of the copper-nickel planchet offers accents of olive. The eye appeal is especially high end! PCGS 25, NGC 19. The last one to sell was a PCGS coin that realized $2,640 in the 2018 FUN auction. There has not been an NGC-graded example in nearly three years.
