Sunset colors predominate.  A lovely coin, formerly in the cabinets of Gehring Prouty and our present consignor, Dr. Charles Link.  A sharp dot separates the 8 and 1 of the date; another, at the top of the first 1, attests to an early die state.  If you’re addicted to AU coins with attractive toning this one deserves consideration.  The royal pedigree is a nice bonus.  Est. $900 to $1,200.
