THE GEORGE SCHWENK COLLECTION This exquisitely preserved and pristine beauty ranks very high on the Population Report and is a sensational example of this date. A full shield and decent detail on Liberty's head (about 60% full) define this generally well struck example. A strong mint brilliance brings out the soft lemon-gold and clover-green tones that frame both sides. Virtually flawless to the naked eye, a strong glass is required to locate any kind of mark, no matter how minor and these have no visual impact. PCGS 23, NGC 22.
