Description du lot
1864 Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. Proof-63 (NGC). Fully struck in virtually all areas, this appealing Liberty Seated silver dollar also features a strongly reflective finish. The lightest iridescent gold and silver toning is all that keeps this coin from being fully brilliant. From a mintage of just 470 pieces, one of the lowest among Proof Liberty Seated dollar issues from the Civil War and Reconstruction eras. Given the scarcity of the circulation strike 1864 silver dollar in all grades, and the rarity of Mint State examples, Proof survivors such as this are always in demand among advanced collectors. PCGS# 7007. NGC ID: 252J. Click here for certification details from NGC.
