1875 Round 25 Cents. BG-878. Rarity-3. Indian Head. AU-53 (PCGS). OGH. Plain edge. Deep yellow gold with bold luster on frosted devices and reflective fields. One of Christoph Ferdinand Mohrig's Large Indian Head types. DOLLAR, the C in CAL, and the 4 in the fraction are all crudely reengraved. Die State I: "Obverse crack at 1."
