1808 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-102a. Rarity-2. MS-61 (NGC). This pretty example reveals the most vivid cobalt blue, salmon pink and orange-apricot iridescence as the surfaces dip into a light. Satiny in texture with an uncommonly smooth appearance for the assigned grade, this late die state example also offers suitably bold striking detail to the central features.
