Tompkins Die Stage 3/3, Rea et al. Die State b. Pleasing silver-gray patina with a touch od powder-blue intermingled over the obverse and reverse. Both sides are sharply defined for an Uncirculated survivor of this early U.S. Mint type, the surfaces smooth in hand with original luster remaining in the recesses of the design that further enhance the coin's appeal. From the final year of the Draped Bust quarter series, and ideal for high grade type purposes where an example of the Heraldic Eagle design is required.<p>
