1808/7 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-101. Rarity-1. EF-45 (PCGS). Sharply struck for the type, we note only trivial lack of detail to the reverse border denticulation that is anything but detracting. Lightly toned with olive-gold and pale russet overtones to a base of silver-gray. The earliest-produced overdate die pairing in the perennially popular Capped Bust half dollar series, the 1808/7 Overton-101 would be a great addition to an advanced type set. PCGS# 39378.
