Lot Description

Richly original surfaces are warmly and evenly toned in sandy-gray patina. Wisps of soft mint luster and iridescent champagne-gold undertones shine forth nicely as the coin dips into direct lighting. Boldly defined overall with a remarkably smooth and inviting appearance for a silver dollar that acquired 20 points of wear. Discovered by Kyle Aber in October 2002, the <em>vamworld.com</em> website describes this important variety as: "Ultra-rare with less than two dozen known. A huge premium coin." As the only attributed example to have received CAC approval in all grades, the significance of this PQ coin at the certified EF-40 grade level cannot be overstated.
