1886 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-67+ (PCGS). CAC. An enchanting piece, both sides exhibit richly original toning in a blend of golden-olive, pearl gray, champagne-pink, antique copper and powder blue. The fields reveal lively reflective qualities as the coin dips into a light, the design elements with a softly frosted texture and nearly full striking detail. The 1886 is one of the more popular Proof Liberty Seated quarters due to a limited mintage of 5,000 pieces for the identically dated circulation strike issue.
