Lot Description

1905-S Barber Quarter. MS-64 (NGC). OH. CAC. A peripherally toned beauty with halos of vivid cobalt blue and reddish-gold patina framing brilliant centers. The strike is virtually full, and the luster is outstanding with a lively satin texture. A semi-key date Barber quarter, the 1905-S is scarce in Mint State despite being a 20th century issue with a mintage of 1.8 million coins. Provenance: From our sale of the Larry H.
