Lot Description

This endearing piece sports sharp strike detail to smooth, satiny surfaces. Beautifully toned, as well, we note blended golden-gray, pinkish-apricot and silver-blue color that are more vivid and varied on the reverse. While not the rarest Denver Mint issue from the early Buffalo nickel series, the 1915-D is relatively scarce in the finer circulated and lower Mint State grades. Premium quality Gems such as this are rare from a condition standpoint and always in demand.
