Lot Description

1893 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-64 (PCGS). Deeply toned with gorgeous rose-russet and ocean deep blue shades covering both sides, somewhat lighter on the frosty devices, but deep on the reflective mirror fields. Incredible eye appeal for the toning and a scarce issue to find nice. Mintage of 792 pieces in Proof, with most falling far short of the eye appealing surfaces seen here. PCGS# 6540.
