1855/4-FD Octagonal $1. BG-511. Rarity-4+. Die State II. Liberty Head. MS-62 (PCGS). Sandy-rose tinting to a base of warmer olive-gold color, both sides brighten to more of a yellow-gold sheen as the coin dips into a light. Direct angles also allow ready appreciation of a prooflike finish. Faint carbon spots are minor handling are not all that significant at the BU grade level.
