- 1897 Barber Quarter. MS-66 (NGC). CAC--Gold Label. OH. Boldly lustrous and richly frosted steel-gray devices are surrounded with a wealth of intense blue iridescence affording a pleasing cameo effect overall, especially on the reverse. Sharply struck throughout, with all of Barber's tiny design elements present. A visually enchanting Gem made all the more enticing by the presence of the coveted CAC "gold bean" sticker. A spidery network of die cracks engages the reverse, attesting to a late state of the die. <strong><em>Among the finest of the date certified by NGC.</em></strong>
