1886 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101, the only known dies. VF-30 (PCGS). From an original mintage of just 5,000 circulated strike, and a date in the Seated half dollar series that is rarely offered in this format (proofs are more common in numismatic circles). Moderately, yet evenly worn, both sides retain ample boldness of detail to the major design elements. Richly original toning blends blue-gray, olive-gray and pale gold shades.
