1820/19 Matron Head Cent. N-2. Rarity-2. Small Date. MS-62 BN (NGC). Glossy and lustrous deep chestnut brown with lively underlying luster and excellent eye appeal for the grade. Surfaces essentially mark-free throughout and with boldly rendered design motifs, especially at the centers. The overdate details are plainly evident on the obverse, and the reverse die is slightly drawn towards 12 o'clock. A late example of Noyes Die State A/A, with overall crisp denticles but significant flowlines starting to appear. Provenance: From the Paradise Collection.
