1842-O Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-8. Rarity-3. Medium Date. MS-62 (NGC). A deeply and richly toned example with glints of more vivid red, olive and gold undertones shining forth at direct lighting angles. Sharply to fully struck throughout with a satiny texture from the dies. Conditionally scarce for this otherwise readily obtainable New Orleans Mint half dollar from the 1840s. PCGS# 6242.
