Really PCGS? Where is the rub? In the days before grading this coin would have certainly been called BU! Velvety luster glows from the untoned surfaces. A few stray lines, album slide marks most likely, are all we can see that might account for the AU58+ super slider grade. Worthy of the CAC endorsement and its status as an ultimate "everyman" coin. PCGS 159, NGC 93, CAC 30. PCGS has graded 4 in AU58+. Prior to receiving its CAC bean, this coin sold in a September 2016 internet only auction for $388. With CAC's approval and the strong private sales we know of for Barber quarters in PCGS AU58+ CAC, we know this coin will bring a very strong bid from the Everyman Barber quarter Registry Set crowd.
