- THE E.D.J. SET, FROM THE EUEL DURWOOD JONES COLLECTION An ideal 1915 quarter eagle--GEM quality all the way! We really like the color. A bold luster radiates on both sides of this "+" graded GEM. Richly toned with orange-gold and rose accents, this lustrous 1915 has a great eye appeal. A tiny contact mark may be found with the aid of a strong glass, but nothing has an impact on the visual allure of this nice looking coin. PCGS 197, NGC 195. The last MS65+ graded by NGC sold in March 2019, the market dynamic is much different today. More recently regular MS65s graded by NGC have sold in the $4,560 to $5,520 range. In MS65+ the NGC Price Guide value is listed at $7,250 and the Collectors Universe value is listed at $10,000. RARE finer, this coin would make a great addition to any $2.50 set or type set of 20th century gold. Bid accordingly. Cert. Number 2033257010 PCGS # 7948
