Lot Description

Undated (Circa 1663-1672) St. Patrick or Mark Newby Halfpenny. Vlack 5-D, W-11540. Copper. Reeded Edge. Medium Obverse Letters. VF-25. 151.9 grains. Glossy light brown with scattered light pitting on both sides. Large round splash centered at left side of crown. Fairly well centered, good sharpness, many fine radial pin scratches on both sides but more notable on obverse. Craige's envelope attributes this as both Vlack 5-D and Breen 1.1-A.1. PCGS# 46. Provenance: From the Ted L. Craige Collection.
