1870 Shield Nickel. MS-65 (PCGS). Charming satin surfaces are hard, smooth, and adorned with delicate antique silver tinting. Sharply struck throughout with interesting peripheral die cracks on the obverse. Provenance: From the Jerome S. Reznick Collection. Earlier from Hollinbeck-Kagin's 297th Mail Sale, May 1972, lot 57.
